Step 1- Design, Plan, Permit

Time Involved  approx. 3 months

The process begins with an overview of the plans for your pool. The permits that are necessary are obtained and the pool plans are reviewed by all involved.

Step 2- Pool Layout

Time Involved- 3 hours

A layout person transposes the drawing into your yard so that everyone can take a peek. This ensures that the actual pool is within just a few inches of the plans.

Step 3 - Excavate

Time Involved – 2-3 Days

The actual digging begins where your pool is dug. The soil is then removed from the property and other construction components begin.

Step 4- Plumbing

Time Involved-2-3 Days

Since pools are primarily concerned with water, the plumbing process is one of the most critical aspects and the most carefully overseen and documented.

Step 5 - Steel

Time Involved 2-3 Days

The steel phase defines the pool and creates the structural integrity of the swimming pool. Great skill is required to ensure that it is correctly done.

Step 6 - Electricity

Time Involved: 1-3 Days

Swimming pools require electrical systems for lighting, filtration, heating, pumps, and safety features. Proper wiring, GFCI protection, and adherence to local codes ensure safety and efficiency.

Step 7 - Shotcrete

Time Involved : 1 Day

Shotcrete is a high-velocity concrete application method, ideal for building swimming pools. It creates strong, durable walls and allows for flexible shaping, perfect for custom pool designs.

Step 8 - Tile and Deck

Time Involved: 3-5 Days

The deck is the surrounding area of a swimming pool, providing space for lounging and access, while tile refers to the decorative or functional lining inside the poo

Step 9 - Water features

Time Involved: 2-3 Days

Water features in a swimming pool are elements like waterfalls, fountains, or jets that enhance aesthetics and ambiance, creating movement, sound, and a more dynamic swimming environment.

Step 10 - Landscaping

Time Involvement :2-3 Weeks

Landscaping around a swimming pool involves designing and planting greenery, installing pathways, and adding features like lighting or seating areas to enhance the pool’s beauty and usability.

Step 11 - Plaster

Time Involved: 1 Day

The interior finish of your pool brings the project together. Choose from Hydrazzo or plaster which are available  in a wide range of colors.

Step 12 - Finishing Touches & Final Inspection

Time Involved : 1-2 Hours

Final inspection of a new swimming pool ensures safety, compliance with regulations, and functionality of equipment, confirming everything is operational and ready for official use.

NOT ALL BIDS ARE CREATED EQUAL.

When comparing offers from other builders, review carefully all that is included in their initial numbers.

At RIMROCK Pool and Spa we believe in total transparency. Included in our initial bid are all we feel should be considered “standard features.”

Items like permits and fees, excavation, electrical installation and an automatic pool cover to protect your investment are included, along with the finest equipment package and warranties.

Carefully review low-ball bids from other pool builders, as certain of these necessary items will be added later, all needed to finish your pool, thus increasing their original bid price dramatically. Another advantage over many other companies is the fact we can begin immediately requesting your permits and upon receiving those, will begin construction at a time appointed by you. We look forward to hearing from you.
